Meet Derrick, an engineer by trade and an explorer by nature. When he's away from his desk, Derrick can be found in Ontario's backcountry exploring its vast lakes and forests by canoe and portage. With each work, he strives to capture the moods invoked by this region's inky lakes, rocky landscapes, and weathered pines. Although Derrick lives in Toronto, it's beneath the expansive skies of Algonquin Park where he feels most at home.
